What you'll need
A few true notes: what you sell, the price, and the city
Costs you have already looked up, such as a license fee
Half an hour to delete anything that is not true
1. Copy this prompt
Replace the notes with yours. Keep the line that says not to invent revenue.
Turn these notes into a one-page plan with these headings:
What we sell, Who it is for, How customers find us, Money to start, Next 90 days.
Notes: weekend lawn care in Sacramento, $40 a visit, we already own a mower,
the next step is a city business license.
Do not invent revenue, customer counts, or costs I did not type.
If a number is missing, write "not set yet."2. Fix the page
Underline every number. If you did not type it, replace it with "not set yet."
Take out any "market is growing" sentence. You did not research that in this exercise.
Make the next 90 days a list you can finish, such as the license, the insurance quote, and the first 10 customers.
Save the page where you will see it. A shared drive is a good spot if you have one.
The SBA explains a fuller plan on its write your business plan page. Use that when a form asks for market, funding, and financial tables. For Sacramento filing steps, start with the launch checklist.
Common mistakes
A revenue forecast the tool invented.
Treating the page as a legal filing. It is notes.
A 90-day list with twenty items. Five is enough.
Questions people ask
Is this the plan a bank wants?
Not by itself. Lenders ask for their own forms. Use this page to see the idea clearly. Then follow the lender's outline if you apply.
Can the AI fill in my startup costs?
Only if you type the numbers. If you leave them out, the tool will guess, and the guess is not your budget.
Where does the SBA explain a longer plan?
The SBA's business guide has a page on writing a business plan. Use it when a lender or a grant asks for more than one page.
We will match a few AI tools to how you already work.
