Sac Business Launch
Privacy Policy
How Sac Business Launch collects, uses, and shares information when you use sacbusinesslaunch.com, book a Local Business Launch Audit, or pay for a package.
Last updated September 22, 2026
We are not a law firm. This policy describes how Sac Business Launch handles personal information. It is not legal advice. Our services are described in the Terms of Service.
Who this covers
This policy applies to sacbusinesslaunch.com and to the Free Local Business Launch Audit, Official Launch ($499), and Digital Storefront ($1,999) services sold here. Sac Business Launch serves Sacramento and Northern California (NorCal). We do not publish a street address.
Payment card data is processed by Stripe. Appointment times are booked through Google Calendar. Their privacy policies apply to information they process, as described below.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we collect:
- Contact details you submit at checkout. First name, last name, email address, and phone number, plus the package you select (Official Launch or Digital Storefront).
- Payment information, through Stripe. When you pay, you enter payment details in Stripe’s embedded checkout. We do not store your full card number on our servers. We receive payment status and the customer details needed to fulfill the order, such as name, email, amount, and package.
- Booking details, through Google Calendar. If you book a Local Business Launch Audit, the scheduler asks for the details Google’s form collects — typically your name, email, the time you choose, and any note you add.
- Business details you send us later. Checkout collects contact information only. Details needed to file a California LLC, obtain an EIN, or build a storefront — such as a business name, an address, or a tax identifier — are collected on the Local Business Launch Audit or by email after you buy. We use that information to do the work you asked for.
- Messages. If you email info@sacbusinesslaunch.com or billing@sacbusinesslaunch.com, we keep the correspondence so we can reply and keep a record of the request.
- Usage and ad-measurement data. Like most sites, our host receives IP address, browser type, and pages requested in order to deliver and secure the site. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, described below, collect cookies and similar data to measure visits and ad performance.
How we use it
We use personal information to:
- Provide the Local Business Launch Audit and the package you purchase.
- Take payment, send a receipt, and answer billing questions.
- Contact you about scheduling, kickoff, filings, and delivery.
- Prepare and submit government filings you asked us to make, and keep a record of that work.
- Measure which pages are used, and measure ad performance, with Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel.
- Detect fraud, protect the site, and meet tax, accounting, and other legal duties.
We do not sell personal information. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel measure how the site is used and how ads perform. That measurement is not a sale of your information.
Third parties
We share personal information with service providers only so they can perform a service for us or for you:
- Stripe processes payments. Stripe’s privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
- Google Calendar hosts the appointment schedule for the Local Business Launch Audit. Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Vercel hosts the site and provides Vercel Web Analytics, described above.
- Google Analytics measures site use with cookies. Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Meta receives Meta Pixel events so we can measure visits and ad performance. Meta’s privacy policy is at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
- Government agencies receive the information a filing requires when you ask us to submit it — for example the California Secretary of State for an LLC, or the IRS when an EIN application is part of the work.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our clients, our business, or others. Domain registrars, website hosts, and similar vendors you choose for your own storefront are your accounts. Their policies govern information you give them.
How long we keep it
We keep contact, message, and payment records for as long as we need them to deliver the services you bought, answer billing questions, and meet tax and accounting recordkeeping duties. If a dispute is open, we keep the related records until it is resolved.
When we no longer need a record and no law requires us to keep it, we delete it or de-identify it. Records already filed with a government agency stay with that agency under its rules. Stripe and Google keep information they process under their own retention practices.
You can ask us to update the contact details we hold, or to delete information we control, by emailing info@sacbusinesslaunch.com. We may need to keep some records to finish a purchase, document a filing, or meet a legal duty.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, may give you rights when that law applies. At a high level, those rights include the ability to:
- Know the categories of personal information we collected about you, the sources, the purpose, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to.
- Request a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Ask us to delete personal information, subject to exceptions such as completing a transaction you requested, security, tax and accounting records, and filings already submitted to a government agency.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel measure site use and ads, which California law can treat as sharing. To limit that, use the browser, device, and Google and Meta controls in Cookies and analytics, or email us.
To make a request, email info@sacbusinesslaunch.com with the email you used on the site and enough detail for us to verify that the request is yours. An authorized agent may submit a request when California law allows it. We will not deny service or charge a different price because you exercised a privacy right.
Whether a specific statute applies can depend on the size and activities of a business in a given year. This section is a plain description of those rights. It is not a legal opinion, and we are not your attorney.
Children
The site and the services are for adults forming or growing a business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email info@sacbusinesslaunch.com and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy by posting a new version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date. The new version applies from the date it is posted. If you keep using the site after that, you do so under the updated policy.
