A booking button lets people schedule with you right from Google, without hunting for your website.
What you'll need
A verified Business Profile
A booking page or booking app account (your own website page works)
The Google Account that manages your profile
Which way should I add booking?
Google says some categories, like health and beauty businesses, can add a booking button. Restaurants can add reservation, ordering, and menu links. If you do not see Bookings, your category may not offer it.
Option 1: Connect a booking provider
Open your profile. On a computer, search Google for my business.
Select Bookings, then Get started.
Pick your provider and select Done.
Google says providers show on your profile within a week. You can find providers that work in your country through Reserve with Google. Booking performance numbers are only available through a provider, not for your own links.
Option 2: Add your own booking link
Open your profile. On a computer, search Google for my business. In the Google Maps app, tap Business at the bottom right.
On Google Search, select Bookings. On Google Maps, select Edit profile, then Booking.
Select Add link (or Add another link).
Paste the full address of your booking page.
Select Save.
Have more than one link? Select Bookings, then Set preferred link, pick one, and Save. It shows as "Business preferred."
Removing a booking link
To remove a provider's link: on Google Search, select Booking, then Remove Provider. On Google Maps, select Edit profile, then Booking, then Remove Provider.
Common mistakes
Linking your home page. Google wants a page where people can finish booking.
Linking Instagram or a link shortener. Not allowed.
Using a general page for a multi-location business. Each location needs its own booking page.
Forgetting to test it on a phone. Tap it yourself and book a test slot.
Not sure your booking page works well on phones? Our Free Website Check will tell you.
Google changes Business Profile screens often. We checked these steps in October 2026. If a button looks different, the Google help pages below have the latest.
Questions people ask
Does Google charge for bookings?
Google says your booking provider might charge you when people book through Google. Check with your provider.
Can I link my Instagram or a link shortener as my booking link?
No. Google's link policy says booking links cannot be social media sites, messaging links, app store links, or link shorteners. The page must let customers actually book.
Can every business add a booking link?
Not every one. Google says not all businesses are eligible for every kind of business link, and it varies by category and country.
How do I remove a booking link a partner added?
On Google Search, select Booking, then Remove Provider. Google says providers must remove links within 5 days of a removal request.
We will look at the site you already have and email what to fix first.
